Connected relationships.
Participating OEMs see the work and updates shared with their organization. Another OEM does not gain access to that customer’s conversations.
For manufacturing suppliers
Keep your connected OEM customers informed about their work. Share progress against a clear commitment, ask the right question, and keep the answer with the job.
A later date requires a reason that the customer can understand.
Less repetition, more useful context
A shared production record gives both sides a place to begin. Your customer can understand the latest reported progress, and your team can see the expectation, relevant context, and next action.
Velakron is designed around participating supplier relationships. It is not a public ranking of your business or a marketplace that exposes your work to every buyer.
A practical update workflow
Review the assigned commitment and relevant part definition. Accept the work with an expected ship date, then update the production stage and forecast as meaningful changes happen.
Questions belong with the job
Clarify the relevant feature or drawing requirement with the OEM. Keep the question, response, and production context together so another person does not have to reconstruct the discussion.
When a problem needs a formal decision, make the proposed resolution and next action visible. Preserve the approval history and its scope.
See the workflow in contextThe bearing-bore question identifies the company responsible for the next response.
At a smaller screen
Choose a workflow that fits how your team works. A short, useful update at the right time is more valuable than another reporting obligation no one can sustain.
Discuss your update processOpen the record, review its state, and report an update.
Clear sharing boundaries
Participating OEMs see the work and updates shared with their organization. Another OEM does not gain access to that customer’s conversations.
Your supplier team works within its assigned permissions.
Velakron support access is governed by the platform’s authorization controls.
Supplier participation
The standard OEM plans include unlimited supplier users. During Early Access, we confirm the participation arrangement and scope with the teams involved before onboarding. Applying does not create a paid account.
The supplier workspace supports work associated with connected OEM relationships. Each customer’s access stays scoped to its shared work. We discuss which relationships will participate in your initial scope.
Agree a practical cadence with the OEM and update when a meaningful stage, forecast, or concern changes. Velakron does not obtain production progress directly from machine telemetry.
Yes. Tell us whether you have an interested OEM or are exploring independently. We can discuss a suitable shared starting point.
